Cold swim

Went to bed at 2am this morning after having a great night with RD & FM seeing in the New Year. RD wanted to go down to Portie to take photos of the Loony Dook. Met them and started to walk down. Didn’t realise the busses were running today and we managed to get on one to save our legs and some time. Kilda wasn’t happy on the bus at all. She has only been on a couple in her life and it must have been the vibrations she didn’t like. The beach was busy with people going in around noon before the official Dook at 1pm. Met up with SR who had come down to do the noon dip with the Wild Ones. Couldn’t find them but she went in by herself. The official Dook happened and we walked back home from Portie. We all had a quick nap, including Kida on the sofa with the duvet before heading down to RD & FM’s for dinner.
