MOTIVATIONAL & INSPIRATIONAL DAY

EDIT(04.01.19) – On the 10 Nov 2018 when Ann's sister Jill was staying with us; 'they were talking about how stupid it was that there were 'DAYS' dedicated to everything from odd sock day to Christmas Jumper Day. BUT that gave Ann an idea........................ She said, 'In 2019 I'm going to Blip Molly, every day of 2019 doing something for each special day.
Unfortunately Ann had had a few glasses of wine when she said this. ….........So forgot that she'd said it................ Until now?!! Obviously wasn't that drunk then?...............…


Haven't a clue why she's remembered this now..................... but she has..................... so we're going to edit our Blips for the last four days.


For the rest of 2019 the title of our BLIP will be whatever 'SPECIAL DAY' it is.
…..............BUT, actually who remembers, as a child, being really excited about Christmas Day, Easter Day and Mother's Day???? There were NO other special days!

So today is Motivational and Inspirational Day. Our previous title of 'Reflecting on Life' is probably quite apt for 'Motivational & Inspirational Day.' Lol!


Sooooo here we are........................ 2nd January 2019 in Cornwall. We LOVE Cornwall. In the winter, gorgeous little collies can go on all the beaches. And since we arrived back in St Ives on Saturday, I've been on the beach every single day. Some days, like today, I've actually been on the beach twice. Yay! This morning I had a good run about on Porthmeor Beach in St Ives and this afternoon my very lovely owner, Ann, took me to Praa Sands for a good run about and a bit of a splish, splash, splosh.


The trouble is; after living for more than 20 years in Cornwall; Ann is coming to the conclusion that she's a 'city girl'.............................. Mmmmmmmm.................. Am I a city dog? The answer to that is probably; yes I am.


For those of you who don't follow our Blips regularly................. We own property in St Ives and Edinburgh. Our Edinburgh flat was rented out for 20 years and then Ann decided to refurbish it and she refurbished it so nicely she didn't actually want anyone else living in it. So now she wants to live in it. For the past couple of years we've been trying to live between Edinburgh & St Ives. ….............But I guess there comes a point when one has to decide where one's permanent home actually is.



Sooooooo Ann is a 'city girl' and I am a 'city dog'........................…


However, both of us absolutely adore St Ives. Ann likes nothing better than sitting in her hanging egg chair in the summer with a glass of vino, gazing at the fabulous sea view. And I love nothing better than having a big huge beach to play on but only in the winter.



BUT at the end of the day................................. it's friends that count.................... It doesn't matter how fabulous the scenery is, or how tranquil a location is, or how much location, location, location will sell your property, or how much you can make from your property, or how much money you have.


At the end of the day.................... you could be living in the most expensive mansion in the world, in a beautiful location, with a shed load of servants. But actually, if you haven't got friends and family; what have you got?????????????????


Surely all anyone wants, is to be happy & healthy???


OMG, this BLIP is getting a bit 'depressive & reflective' now. And Ann hasn't even had any wine. Lol.


I think what we're trying to say is.................. I think we're going to make Edinburgh our permanent home.
