Emergency poinsettia

Had intended to take something more interesting than this (the old poinsettia that has done the reddening of the bracts business all by itself) but I was called away to a tricky situation in Musselburgh and got distracted. Mainly by the fact that the only car club car available was a bus ride away and was a hybrid/automatic. Gaaaa-a-h! Haven't driven an automatic since I was in a hire car in LA, approx 40 years ago. Quite, erm, stimulating. So much so that I forgot to take any more photos. I did see the flock of waxwings in Pilrig Park when I was on my way to get a bus home, mind.
