Christmas Eve

We were up and finishing up final prep early.  Then we headed off to The Hubby's parents house for a get together with his side of the family.  We had a wonderful time.  There was excellent food, and lots of chit chat.  IT was festive and fun. 

Then it was home for a quiet evening, and bedtime.  It is strange to not do the 'Santa thing', but also quiet nice.  No stress.  As I looked at our tree before turning off the lights, I marveled at it's beauty, and felt oh to very blessed.
