Scrub Jay Oregon

As I walked by the lake I heard a Jay above.....I had to move back to see the top of the tree to find the Scrub Jay.  He was sitting in the sun for his photo shoot so I got the required sparkle in his eye. It was another beautiful clear day but all of that may be changing tomorrow or Friday; the weatherman is predicting rain. 

Today was the latest sunrise of the year.....so I was up at 7:58AM to see the beautiful sunrise in the extra photo. The photo was taken from our bedroom window.....the sky looked like it was on fire. That extra photo is my entry to Wide Angle Wednesday. Maybe I should switch the photos?
