Snow. Nearly.
Took this at 7.30 this morning. It had melted by the time Al and I left at 8.30, but the air still had that beautiful cold, snowy smell.
I was vey upset about something yesterday evening, and couldn't sleep last night. I was still awake at 4.30 this morning, so today I felt very tired. I was reminded of my Dad, who often claimed to be so tired he could sleep on a clothes line.
I read a chapter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to Al this evening. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, but this book is loooooong, and the pace, especially in the first half, is slow. I have read the book twice, and seen the film about eight times, so it holds no secrets for me, and as I read about 25 pages tonight and have no idea how I kept my eyes open.
Al is in the school choir and singing carols all the time. It's very nice and I can't resist joining in even though I don't know a lot of the words and can't sing for toffee. It's so unfair to love to sing so much but sound so bad!
This evening we were discussing William and Kates baby. Betsy said she wouldn't want to be royal but I would. I'd love it! I think I would make an excellent queen!
