Traditional competition

The New Year’s ski jumping competion at Garmich-Partenkirchen is a tradition, nearly 100 years old! I’ve actually grown up with looking at it on TV every 1 January. Not so strange because Finland has had many good ski jumpers previously. It seems as there are none nowadays, not any talent Swedes either. Never mind, this sport is exciting to look at even if you don’t know the names of jumpers...!
