Morning View of Evening Primroses....

Early this morning there was low cloud obscuring the hills and mountains surrounding the Wairau plains where Blenheim is situated. Maisie and I did our early morning walk. We took a slightly different route and came across this big patch of wild Evening Primrose plants beside the River. Maisie is a mere cream blob amongst the plants as she headed for the water. Granddaughter Emily and her dad Steve headed off to Picton to return to Wellington via the Interislander ferry today.
