Looking in

After a busy day at work, I was meeting Nathan and Chris at St Johns's, one of my favourite after-work pubs. Not being able to get a blip for the day, I grabbed a quick shot of the pub through the windows before I went in.

But what I didn't realise that N & C had beaten me to it - perched under the menu board in the photo - and had spotted me in action. Words and phrases such as 'violated' and 'sucked out my soul' were flung around before settling down to a very good Spanish white, food and banter. The butternut squash and parmesan risotto cakes were the best thing I have eaten in quite some time. Mmmm.
