Shepherds delight?

I suspect that I'm not alone when I say that what I truly dislike about this time of year is the lack of daylight. Depending on the shift I'm working I often start and finish in the dark which makes it feel as though the day never really happened.

Finishing a little earlier today (which meant of course an even earlier start) I did at least catch a little of the effects of what was obviously a beautiful sunset. Sadly I only had my toy camera with me but I was able to grab this shot as I came past the street parallel to mine.
