Afternoon Light

We had to take my car early to the garage this morning . The day sort of rambled along after that.
I took down the decorations and we tried to use an ice cream maker I’d had free with a mixer a few years ago ! Paul finally got it to work but big mistake as after we’d sampled the ‘ice cream ‘ we both decided that we would have been better off not indulging !
The light was beautiful this afternoon as I walked a circuit around the village and managed to glimpse a kingfisher . There were snowdrops in bud and daffodils in flower!
