Jerking Flirting Stonechat
We had a lovely walk at Panshanger Park. Ollie dog remembered the Dog Dip and ran on ahead for a paddle.
We spotted a female stonechat near Osprey Lake. The Observer's Book of Birds says, "This smart and dainty little bird has a distinctive note and a distinctive way of jerking its wings and tail, especially on alighting." This is only the second time that I have captured a stonechat.
