Flower Friday

It has been practically blizzarding for 2 days. So much snow has fallen but the wind has blown it away in sheets so it is hard to say how much has fallen. Suffice to say that, after clearing the snow away from the footpaths, they are completely covered again in about 20 minutes. I had lunch and a game of Scrabble with my girlfriend  - a good day to stay indoors. We always seem to pick a bad weather day to play. 
Looking for a flower to photograph for Flower Friday I spotted the Erica on the window sills weighted down by snow. I am amazed they survive so well.
