One of the Chinese Lanterns at Edinburgh Zoo

Went for my first run of the year around the reservoirs. Always pleased to be able to complete this benchmark each time I come up to Edinburgh.

Drove to Kingsknowe to walk along the Union Canal into the city again. Not such a fine day. Bought some thermal underwear in M&S and caught the bus back to where we left the car.

In the evening we all went to Edinburgh Zoo to see the Chinese Lanterns display depicting Chinese myths and legends and Scottish stories https://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/giant-lanterns/. What a spectacular display but oh so cold. We managed to thaw out at Toby Carvery afterwards.
