I have this insatiable appetite for knowledge about music.

Even stuff I don't particularly like. I'm not a fan of Paul Oakenfold. I would disagree with Shaun Ryder about his remix of WFL being the best - Vince Clarke nailed it for me.

Nonetheless it's interesting to read about how Oakey was in the right place at the right time and played a fairly major part in the Balearic scene.

However I find Oakey's comment "the secret to the whole thing is fun" rather misleading.
