Doorways

It was a lovely bright  morning, so I started my day with a run – which ended up being 7 miles – the furthest I have run in ages.  I was exhausted! Another morning of pottering around.  I insisted we head out after lunch to enjoy the lovely day.  We parked up in East Linton and walked along the Tyne to Hailes Castle and then back via Pencraig.  My legs were feeling rather weary by yhe time we got back to the car.

We had been expecting friends to visit today for food and drinks, but they have been struck down by a bug, so TT cooked a rather nice tea and we had a quiet evening and the final episode of the ABC murders.

There were a lot of people at Hailes Castle. – amazingly I managed to get this shot without anyone in the frame!
