SILLY SATURDAY

And it came to pass that a certain silly couple - known to Blippers as Mr. & Mrs. HCB - decided to go on an Easter Egg Hunt. 

They bundled up in their warm clothes, drove a little way, then made the rest of the journey on foot, watching robins, blue tits, chaffinches, blackbirds, magpies and crows on the way, and also seeing a few snowdrops and some sticky buds on the trees.

Alas, when they reached their destination, they were disappointed to see that the Easter Egg display was sadly lacking and the only ones they could see were Cadbury Creme Eggs.  

However, Mrs. HCB, being the actual Blipper, decided that even before the Christmas season is over, to have Easter eggs for sale was rather silly, so this is her contribution for Silly Saturday.  Against her better judgment, and although they are her absolute favourites, she decided not to buy the said CCEs on the basis that she still has lots of Christmas chocolates at home and it is 106 days until Easter Sunday! 

Apart from the above, it was so blooming cold that the said Mrs. HCB was whingeing so they decided to call it a day and go home.
