Bird Week - Goldfinch

At last, one of them on the actual feeder. The Goldfinches appear in winter and stay with us until after the young have fledged. They nest in a big bush opposite the kitchen window. Again, they all disappear into the surrounding woods during the summer. Plenty of food for them there.
