A Bust of Archie?
Archerfield House, East Lothian, viewed from the top car park (by the binstore).
Get a bigger bust!
The sunset lit up the front of the house this afternoon and showed off the lovely honey coloured stone of the bust above the front door.
I think it's generic bust of Shakespeare, but it looks good if you only half glance at it. The originals never even got as far as the building restoration. The house was completely derelict when the estate was taken over, and had in fact been used as a grain-store, with a hole knocked in the front to allow tractors to drive in.
All fixed now, you really can't see the join, just a couple of mis-placed busts give the game away!
