Steps

Out to lunch again today, this time meeting friends at a pub. We are used to seeing pubs at lunchtime during the week, but the atmosphere is totally different on Saturday. Instead of quiet retired couples, the pub was crowded with young people and children. There were two big parties. It was noisy and fun. Even though it was cold, the outside area was crowded with walkers - this has always been a popular pub amongst walkers.
I blipped the steps up to the pub back in the summer when it was lined with geraniums. Now a mixture of small potted shrubs greeted us. They look very healthy.
