Children are very much....
Not welcomed here with open arms.
Up and about
Daddy headed off on a shoot
We went to rugby via Sainsbury’s for some tagliatelle.
Rugby done
Home for quick toastie stop then to get haircuts.
Haircuts done and then onto the Elgar birthplace museum which has been taken over by the national trust.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel somewhat unwelcome. The set up was not child friendly at all - with the volunteers following around the exhibits like hawks saying don’t touch this do that.
One asked me if I was ok with her telling the children to stop doing things. I have her a teacher stare and no reply! What could I have said?
Popped to big Sainsbury’s to click and collect. Waited for 15 minutes then happened to see the manager chatting. Even when he got involved it took another 10 minutes to get sorted. He did very kindly give the children a kit kat bar each as a way of saying sorry.
Got home
Made pesto for chicken pesto tagliatelle
I liked it....
