A dying art.....

You'll remember earlier in the week I found a box with my old letters from my teenage years.
You can see I was organised as I put them into groups from each person!
There are some ex boyfriends letters but mainly from good friends who were at college or uni. Subjects range from friendship to how much work they had.
It's hard to believe just over 20yrs ago this was the main way we communicated. Nowadays we have texts, messenger, what's app etc. And if we don't hear within a specific time we worry, some 20yrs ago we had to wait for a letter.
Whislt I think modern technology is good to keep in touch I do miss at times receiving a letter (snail mail) that's not a bill! !
