Natland Mill Beck Bridge #184
Mr P and son M went on their separate but rather hilly walks which I chose not to join in. Son M's is here to show why I did not accompany him!!. Left to my own devices I opted for the next bridge on the very safe flat canal tow path. Sorry for the recurrring theme. Bridge #185 was filled in; no sign of it remains and the canal path goes up to the road and back down the otherside, not very authentic. This is bridge #184. I was pleased to see the the old decorative metal rope is still there to stop you going down the steps and falling into the canal. These days it stops you falling into the path of a speeding cyclist.
PS I've just been told this is 1825 blips, gosh how many years is that?
