Look who came today!

I was planning to spend all day today working on the printed programme for the festival. It needs to go to the printer next week. The best laid schemes........

We had a disturbed night because Mum wasn't too well, so rose later than usual.

Then we had lovely visitors calling.

Margaret (across the road, not next door - different spelling but sounds the same) called to give us a progress report on the building work on her bungalow. It's lovely having her at this end of the village because she can just call in for a coffee and a chat.

Then I heard from BJ and Sheila that they were in Hexham where BJ was walking Rollo (in my blip). Could they call the collect the necklace that Sheila dropped last time they were here?

Today's quiz is to guess Rollo's breed!

Then Julie came and we spent some time setting up her new iPhone. Great fun, but you have to be patient with iPhones. People who know Julie will know that she tends to get on with things at speed!

I fell asleep for a couple of hours before we went to Margret's (next door) for a lovely meal and a very pleasant evening. She lit the candles on her tree for the last time this year. It was magic.

The programme will be started tomorrow morning!!
