Saturday: From The Rooftop

We were down at the beach early this morning and managed to snag ourselves a very nice spot where we were very happy for the day. We had both breakfast and lunch there and, around those, dipped in and out of the water, played bit bat, went for beach walks etc and generally relaxed. I also read a lot and have an excellent book recommendation coming up for you.

One feature of the beach is the endless stream of people peddling their wares. This includes all types of musicians, including accordionists, mariachi bands etc. I got slightly hysterical when I saw someone dragging a harp along the beach.......I had visions of a symphony orchestra turning up next!

We ate Italian tonight which was a pleasant change. Prior to that, we had drinks on the rooftop - as you can see, we have a good view.
