One Street
There is a project going on with blipfoto regarding shots of streets where you live. This corner and the roads nearby that carry great heaps of traffic normally, have been under construction for months with little progress evident; and we all wonder if it will every make any improvement.
The street we are looking at here takes a great swath of the city traffic towards downtown or the Seattle Center where all our cultural events are, and games too, with no public transport to run east and west. It is, always has been, and I personally believe always will be, a mess.
The street we are looking at is a continuation of my street named Fairview Avenue, but it is too crazy to explain - just rest assured that between the traffic and the crazy jigs and jags in names where they stop and re-start a mile or so away (often because a lake crops up in what might be called the flight path if you were a bird) is impossible to explain when giving directions.. There are so many lost tourists carrying all with these ditzy maps they get for free that make sense on paper but have nothing to do with the lay of the land, even before they tore up all these streets for improvement.
Well it has provided jobs, so that is good! So this is "one street" ha ha. I avoid it all because I ride a bike around and through it. Mud puddles and all.
