The meeting of the waters

A gentle walk around the village this morning in brighter and milder weather than of late.  This is the point where Crane Brook and Footherly Brook meet to become what some maps show as Black Brook and others say Crane Brook.  It was lovely to be able to pause and watch grey wagtails flitting about the side of the stream and a big old buzzard apparently fast asleep in a tree.
