Train Ride

KLM left on the dot last night and so we arrived on the dot this morning.  It is freezing cold (6 degrees but feels like -1 after three weeks in 30+ weather), so the coats and boots are useful again.

On today's agenda -- supermarket errands, laundry, photo back-ups, the mail, a decent meal, a warm bath for AW, and, last but not least, building up the inside temperature again.  I think I'll postpone opening my work mail till tomorrow.

Happy New Year, dear house and home ... after all is said and done, and toured, you are still the best.  Thank you for not burning down to the ground while we were away.
