Y Plas, Machynlleth

A wander round the local "big house" (former home of the Marquess of Londonderry).  Besides the tea room, there is a gallery for (mostly local) artists to display all types of hand made items.  Lots of cards,  wall hangings  but also ceramics and some textiles.  Some items are textile pictures done as wall hangings!

Not just your usual tourist 'tat' .  I took several pictures of things here but I was trying to do it surreptitiously so most of the pictures were rubbish!!!
