Sunday 6th january

Another grey day and every trace of Christmas has now been removed from the house. Think I might still be hoovering up artificial tree leaves for another week or so though as they've got everywhere!

Got back to the normal routine today which meant a nice litle walk around RHS Hyde Hall which is still proving popular despite the overcast weather. Had hoped to do a bit of birdspotting over there but they all seemed in short supply, other than a faraway woodpecker, so hopefully better luck next time.  The door to the library over there still had a lovely wreath on it so hope they'll be taking that down soon!
