Cristo in Copacabana

Blipping this from Le Vin restaurant in Ipanena. We had a lovely walk along the front in Copacabana to get here, stopping to take a few shots and keep up our liquid intake.  It's hot today, so we were both wearing our sunhats, protection 60 and sunglasses.  Le Vin restaurant was a big favourite of ours when we lived in Sao Paulo and so were delighted when it.opened up in Rio, in fact we were here on the opening day! 

Look at the natural beauty of the landscape in this shot today.  It really is an amazing city, 'a cidade maravillosa'.
