Daisy Tea...But Not
Looking at the Chinese writing on the plastic bag of dried flowers, one Chinese friend said they were Gold Mountain flowers, and it was NOT tea. The other Chinese friend said they were daisies, and it is kind of like tea.
Hmmm...I think in English, I'd say, it's flower tea. But, there are lots of things that we generalize in English because we don't know any better. Unfortunately, I don't know any other word for dried things we place in hot water to make the water flavored. Suggestions?
For now, this is Daisy Tea.
