Hands Up for Half Way

The girls set out from the Shortcut Road car park, and cycled all the way back to my home in Wanaka.  Little 'h' managed over half the distance, and had a ride home in the car over the last few k's.  At least 20k's all up.  I walked quite a bit, by parking the car, and walking back to meet them for a little picnic.  I did just over 10 k's, or 15,000 steps.  We stopped at an Albert Town Cafe for a nice lunch, then an ice cream at The Outlet Camping Ground.  The extras are the photos missed the cut.  (1)  Uphill ride, (2)  Riding towards the mountains  (3)  Uphill slog at Albert Town (4)  Riding through the green trees, (5)  At Beacon Point.

An enjoyable but tiring day was had by all.
