Jeepers!

Well today was the day of my eye test! It was great not having to rush this morning, as my appointment wasn't until lunchtime. 

It all went smoothly, and my eyes haven't deteriorated as much as I thought - just a little for close work. I chose these frames in the photo, though I won't have them until two weeks' time. And as I have varifocals, not normal single vision lenses, they will cost considerably more than the price shown here!
