If you go down to the zoo today...
Backblipped 07.01.19
We had a very leisurely start to the day and breakfast become lunch :D
In recent years Peter has become a holiday blipper, and I've lost my blip mojo so the soggy weather did not entice us outside with our cameras. Instead we chose to staying in, relax, polish off more of the christmas leftovers (mainly of the cake and chocolate variety....oh and the most amazing shortbread bites that Peter brought with him. Delicious with tea or coffee....I tried both ;-))
Watched a pile of rubbish on the TV and didn't move till it was time for me to prepare the chicken korma for dinner.
Alan in the meantime, headed out with Ally to Edinburgh Zoo to see the amazing Giant Lanterns of China. He went last year (twice!) and loved it so was keen to return. Unfortunately there was some rain but it didn't dampen his enthusiasm and they both had a great time (so today's blip courtesy of Ally :-)
We stuffed our faces with Chicken Korma, rice, naan bread, poppadums, onion bhajis and samosas. More chat and laughter and rubbish tv before Peter headed home just before midnight.
Thanks for a great catch up P and for all our amazing gifts. Look forward to seeing you again soon when we really MUST get the cameras out the bags! :-))
