Beginnings....

....set the tone for the rest of the story. It needs to capture your attention and keep it. It may start in the past, or in the present. It may start with a shocking jolt or it may start softly and slowly, but still grasp you just as tightly and completely.  The beginnings can draw you in and immerse you in another world, and while you're there you can travel the world & develop your imagination along with your vocabulary......change or expand your opinions or your outlook....make you cry in sadness as well as joy....plan a trip....be more appreciative....
