Life from city to village

End of the Street

I went out for a walk at lunchtime - and it was bucketing down. Luckily I was well wrapped up, so although my coat and hat were soaked, I was ok.
Today I decided to head down the hill; there is a pedestrian only ginnel nearby, and I wanted to see where it led. Slightly longer than ideal - the walk took 33 minutes. It turns out to be an expensive housing area. Large detached houses, manicured gardens - the kind which require a gardener.

This particular image is the end of the street where I work - I liked the effect of the wall leading the eye to the house at the end. It is a lovely area.
