JP picked up a hire car today. We went to a garage to enquire about fixing our old car but it is as we feared - it would cost far more than the car is worth with no guard that the mechanics could get it going again.
So we have started looking for a replacement. Test drove one in Dorchester which we are very tempted with. Will make a few enquiries. As we were up in Dorchester we had another wander around Poundbury - the brain child of Prince Charles. It’s certainly a very interesting place with some lovely buildings.
