Bright and breezy

I’ve started on a new getting fitter regimen, not actually for New Year, but due to turning 60 in November!

Yesterday I got up early and was down at the gym before I’m usually awake...I only lasted 45 minutes but I reckon I’ll begin slowly and sustainably.

So this morning the Ards Man and I headed off to a giant retail space called Go Outdoors - it’s massive! Acres of clothes and shoes and equipment, although not many bargains, unfortunately. Well, none that I could see. Instead of buying new charging about gear I went to a lovely art shop in Holywood (County Down) and bought a couple of paintbrushes, watercolour paint and a block of paper. So I’m going to try to carve out time for my hobby each week and find out if I can get creative!

The photo was taken at a local farm shop where we stopped off for coffee and scones on the way home - my last scone of the week!

We’ll see how long that plan lasts....
