The perfect...

...cup of coffee. Our new kettle has a temperature gauge on the front, and the blurb states that water at 90deg make the best cup of coffee. We suspect that the gauge isn't very accurate at all but, after a week of experimenting, we reckon that the coffee tastes best if we turn off the kettle when it registers 80deg. Nothing like a really good cup of coffee to start the day!

Put the first coat of finish on the shelves in the 'Music room' this morning. They're looking good, but the flat reeks of Danish oil!
