The longest bench

On this very chilly day (I should have worn my thermals) we went over to Littlehampton, just to blow the cobwebs away.

Littlehampton is the proud owner of the longest bench. It's 324m long, making it the longest bench in Britain.  This is the end bit of the bench which is made into a piece of art.  Strangely, there is a notice on it saying mustn't climb on it, which means you can't sit on it.  Nobody takes a blind bit of notice of that though.
