Flying High

A working from home day for both of us. Whilst making some lunch, I noticed three red kites circling the garden, no idea why but I quickly stuck the big lens on to get something. Could have done with a bit more time to optimise the settings but this was best of the bunch.

Camera club this evening. I kicked off a practical night of taking control of exposure with a short talk before members tried their hand using the controls at their disposal shooting various still life scenes, mainly flowers. There were plenty of questions being asked so hopefully everyone went away with a bit of new knowledge and understanding of what their camera is doing and what they can do to take a bit more control of it.
