spring

Today drove over the Saddleworth Moors to my brothers house.  Much surprised to see how heavy the frost there was on the roadside and at his house as when I left home there was hardly any.  It was lovely to see the snowdrops in his garden well out and some of the flowers actually opening.  Mine, although above the ground, stay tightly shut at the moment.
Took an old family friend out to lunch, called at the garden centre and then made my way back home.
