Have started using the Arc equine on Lime again. I forgot how time consuming it is with him being in for 3 hours, having to muck out etc. He's been a bit of an idiot about being in. I don't know what to do with him really. I've been hooking him up as soon as I get there and doing my poo picking in the field whilst he has it on so he's in for as little time as possible, but I can't risk leaving him unattended with it cos even if he rolled it would probably get smashed up.

Today I tried giving him a massive bucket feed whilst I took Buddy round the woods but he refused to eat it. As soon as I got back to the yard I got him out of the stable and tied him up next to Bud with his feed but he just flung it everywhere and paced about. He's like a petulant child. Wish he could see that it's being done to help him! I managed to get him used to it last time so hopefully if I persevere then coming in again daily will be part of his routine and he will settle better over time. He just worries me so much at the moment. The vet bill landed on the doormat today as well. Ouch!
