Distance

Sometimes, we are not the only dog walkers on the Cooried dog walk.  Sometimes I have a friendly chat with others if the dogs allow us.  However, sometimes we do not. 

The figure in the landscape uses the dog walk from time to time.  He is always alone and, while we have had conversations, he is known for preferring his own company.  He was widowed a couple of years ago and I guess he has things which he still has to work out.  At this time of year, he and his wife had always enjoyed a Caribbean cruise.

Had he wanted to chat, he would have waited.  So I kept my distance.  I thought that was the respectful thing to do.
