Botanic Gardens

A dull, humid day today, but not too uncomfortable for a walk around the Australian botanic gardens with my son, who was very patient waiting as I photographed everything possible! A large 1,030 acre site in South Western Sydney, specialising in over 4,000 native plants.
I was thrilled to discover several small gumnut trees, recently planted there... it has been a quest of mine to find one, after seeing them posted by Australian blippers, and admiring them so much! Have posted a collage including hibiscus, kangaroo paw, and a Christmas bush.
