Maintenance Day

This morning I cleaned and swept out Big Red, Clare’s much love VW T4, sadly now redundant/replaced.
The ‘For Sale’ signs have gone up on her with an additional sheet listing the many extras and improvements you get for your money.

Then in the afternoon it was the turn of my oft neglected tropical fish.

A 50% water change, debris ‘hoovered’ out of the bottom, new filters and tank sides cleaned. By the time the watchers of water additives had cleared the tank water looked sparkling clean with plenty of air bubbles to keep it so, for a while at least anyway.

Clare and I enjoyed a roast dinner with baked ham before settling down to watch all three one hour episodes of ITV’s Manhunt in one hit. Riveting TV
