What Goes Around

I'm feeling much better today, with nary a sniffle. Janet, on the other hand, has decided it's her turn. What goes around comes around. Ah me.

Last night's council budget meeting went well, but right at the end one of the councillors tried to pin me down, and asked the unaskable question.

Are you going to stand for Chairman next year (please do).

Well, like a table full of dominos that tipped the first one over, and I 'fessed up. No, I'm not going to be Chairman after the May election. 

I think ten years is enough for anyone. Unlike Blip, where I'm told I'm about to get another candle. Dammit, I'll haver to go look for a decent shot!!!
