Some good news

A friend and neighbour suggested a walk this afternoon. She doesn’t usually walk for more than an hour but I took her to some local spots she hasn’t seen before and we nearly managed 3 miles in 95 minutes which is excellent for her.
When we returned there was a message on my answerphone to ring the surgery which I did. The secretary informed me that the wait for a routine endescope was many weeks but my doctor had checked the criteria and I have been bumped up so should have my half an hour of discomfort in under two weeks. Wow, I can’t wait.
