Sneaky Spa Day

When your friend has a day off and suggests a trip to Harrogate Turkish Baths it would be rude to say no... as it bonus it was pretty quiet too. We had a very relaxing couple of hours then a stop off for lunch at The Pantry Shop on the way back. Desert was by the way of cake back in Saltaire, then finished in time for school pick up. Who needs a clean house anyway!

It was parents evening for J, summed up best by his maths teacher as 'brill'!

Finally a quick turn around for me and down to church for our first WI meeting of the year. This year's resolution is about mental health so out meeting was based on this, with a great talk from our local MH charity, The Cellar Trust, alongside two very personal talks from members experience. For me, setting up our group was primary about offering the opportunity to meet other women to allow them to build up the support network that we all need in life. Tonight was one of our busiest meetings with many visitors and new members joining us. The best start to our WI year I could wish for.
